Now, we are moving onto the second session.
The title of the second session is “the Structure of National Human Rights
Systems and Role of Ombudsman: Various Country Case Studies”.
I would like to invite Undersecretary of the Ministry of EU Affairs
Ambassador Rauf Engin Soysal.
The panelists of the session are Abdelaziz Benzakour, Ombudsman
of Morocco, Lora Vıdovic, Ombudsman of Crotia and Sirpa Rautio, 3 rd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON OMBUDSMAN INSTITUTIONS
Director of Human Rights Center.

Esteemed participants,
First of all, I would like to welcome you all.

Thank you coming to Turkey.
We have previously discussed this issue over the coffee break; I mean
about how to proceed with. I will not deliver an introductory remark.
We will move onto the presentations directly. Each speaker will do
their presentations for 20 minutes and most probably, I will be the
first one asking the questions at the beginning in the Q&A. So, we will
seize a chance to exchange opinion.
