Maybe you do not know but Prof. Odyakmaz does. Mr. Nikiforos
came to Turkey during the debates about the draft law, when we the
Ministerial reps visited him in Strasbourg, he worked over this law
with them a lot and contributed to the finalization of the law. As it is
the case in all other laws, we have certain gaps that are revealed in
time by practice. For this reason, once again I would like to extend my
gratitude to Mr. Diamandouros.
I hope that the 3 international symposium has been fruitful for you.

On this occasion, I would like to extend my personal gratitude to all
guests coming from near and far places for your valuable inputs and
for coming to honor us. I hope we have been a good host. If something
went wrong for you derived from us, on our part, I would like to
apologize for that and please excuse us for any disturbance or flaws.

I hope if we service next year-that is a Turkish expression, we would
like to organize the 4 symposium. Maybe, we will seize a chance to

come together next year.
You are the ones who made this event happened with your institutional
experiences, know-how and efforts and thanks to you, it is successful
and fruitful with good quality and welcomed by public. If you were not
here, the symposium would not be that good and we would not be
able to enjoy or reach fruitful results, either.
I talked long enough. So, once again, I would like to extend my personal
gratitude to all international guests, Turkish participants, co-workers,
fellows, auditors, secretary general, experts, heads of units and
everyone who was and was not on duty here for your contributions.
Look forward to meeting you all next year. Mr. İlker, head of Press

while. I may not be here in the afternoon. In the afternoon, we will sign
bilateral cooperation agreements with Ukraine and Iran Ombudsman
