so that the state can prevail forever”.
In its establishment, the acquis communautaire, international
conventions that are ratified by Turkey constituted the grounds.
Since March 2013 the date of establishment, 17 655 complaints have
been received, that is the truth reflecting that this is decreasing the
workload of judiciary. I believe that Turkish Ombudsman Institution
will continue to contribute to public services culture by offering new
ways and methods to be followed in problem solution.

Mr. President,
Esteemed Guests,
Ombudsman, as a common product of the western and eastern
cultures, is a significant step towards harmonization with the acquis
communautaire and creation of citizen centered public services in
Turkey. Without doubt, there are many more legislative arrangements
to be done to live in peace and harmony with fraternity in our country
so that we can develop our democracy and Quality of life and to put
an end to wrong practices in public administration. All these will be
made possible during the next term of the Parliament again under the
required atmosphere. One of these tools that will enable us will be 3 rd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON OMBUDSMAN INSTITUTIONS
a brand-new constitution that will guarantee fundamental rights and
freedoms.

While concluding my remarks, I would like thank Mr. Nihat Ömeroğlu,
Turkish Ombudsman for he organized the 3 Symposium and his
rd
team members as well as everyone who contributes and attends this
meeting.

I wish you a fruitful event and hope that it paves the way to rewarding
outcomes. Please accept my greetings.
