make the terrorists look like “good kids” while the law-enforcement
units are presented violent. As you can notice and tell, the one who
imitates the attacks, explodes the bombs, puts the cities on fire
and murdering innocent people is the terrorist organization and its
supporters but who is blamed here? The party that is blamed is the
state, the government and myself.
They disregard the law-enforcement officers who are shot dead as
well as massive holes opened on the roads due to hidden bombs,
the rockets that are launched, the public buildings and assets such
as schools, mosques, workplaces and ambulances that are hit. They
are not interested at all in innocent people who are massacred by
the terrorist organization while they are out on the street trying to
make their bread, working in a restaurant, trying to get by digging the
scraps in garbage. But, in case of a minor scaled operation against the
terrorists, they are making huge fuzz in the world. This circle is trying to
give an image from Syria, Egypt or Libya on the basis of details from the
street corners. They are deploying huge efforts to put the blame of the
innocent people who are shot dead on the law-enforcement bodies.
In the eye of the public, they are pointing at the state, the government
and myself as the culprit of the acts, by the terrorist organization that
are tumbling up the lives of my citizens.
The terrorist organization, politicians, media organizations, everyone
memorized this scenario by heart very well and restaging it on any
occasion.
It must be very well known that individuals come and go and they are
mortal but this country and nation will prevail. Turkey, with its state
and nation, will continue to walk and stand tall on its way from the
past towards the future. The ones who were involved into abject acts
yesterday against this country and its nation are gone for good. Today,
the ones who run after similar objectives will be doomed to the same.
May our nation rest assured about that.
Turkey, with the office of the President, its Parliament, Government,
law-enforcement bodies, has the capability to disrupt such games. The
State is meticulous enough not to allow any single citizen to be hurt
or victimized. It is acting very cautiously because we know that these
challenges are temporary and we will continue to live in this geography
with the spirit of fraternity.
